The book is divided into 34 chapters in six major sections: using the health care system; wellness; symptoms; first aid; treatment and prevention; and proper use of medications. Chapters include understandable explanations of the topic, and selective descriptions of diseases or abnormalities. Each chapter is written by a specialist in the field. CHMC is an excellent, searchable general reference source for both health care providers and consumers.
