Additional sources of information about Maine books

About this projectThe Literary Map of Maine is a partnership between the Maine Sunday Telegram and several library and humanities groups in Maine. Newspaper readers were asked to nominate Maine books and authors for the
project; an eight-member
committee worked to
narrow the list of reader-submitted titles and their own nominations to the 50 places on this map. The committee also compiled quotes from the selected books, as well as the capsules of information about the literature.
A print version of the map was published in the Aug. 31, 2008 edition of the Maine Sunday Telegram, but this online map will continue to grow.
