In this article Jack Solock introduces the Scout Project's Subject Specific reports. Solock argues that these reports will help the Scout Project to better provide what libarians call SDI (Selective Dissemination of Information). The article discusses the advantages of SDI services and predicts great things for this new addition to the Scout Project's services.
This article reviews the accomplishments of The Internet Scout Project during 1997. The increasing popularity of Scout publications such as the Scout Report and Net-Happenings are reviewed, as well as Signpost, the "cataloging and classification arm of the Project." The article also discusses the Project's growth and future goals.
