[SPT/CWIS] Boolean Operators

Form what I have learned so far about SPT / CWIS,  you can search 
with Boolean operator AND (default or plus sign: + ) and  operator 
NOT (dash sign: -), but not with operator OR.
Is it possible to customize SPT/CWIS to implemented it?

In Advanced search the default operator between boxes is AND. Is it 
possible to customize SPT/CWIS to implemented NOT and OR, too?
