[SPT/CWIS] stemming?

    CWIS and SPT (or rather the underlying OSMASE search engine
    that they're using) does not support stemming.  We made this
    decision because the consensus in the search engine community
    seemed to be that stemming was more of a detriment than a
    help in returning useful search results for most users.

    We will be supporting synonyms in the next version of OSMASE,
    which will appear in either CWIS 1.4.1 or the release following.
