We'll look into the behavior of 1.4.0 on this, but in any event,
I believe you can achieve the desired result just by putting the
classifications all in one form field, with any multi-word entries
surrounded by quotes if you need an exact match. For example:
"educational technology" multimedia physics
This should return results that have all of the above terms
(treating "educational technology" as one term) in the specified
metadata field.
