[SPT/CWIS] updating ir adding a resource

Hi all,
Any clues on what the trouble is on this one?
I go in to edit a record (add, delete metadata) and hit the "update resource" button and 
the screen goes blank and nothing happens.  It just stays blank and I can't do anything 
unless I completely close the browser and reopen the site and log in again.  The 
changes do take however.  This happens when I add a new resource as well.  But 
everything else works fine.  Thanks, Ann
